Restaurant Owner kbobcafe.com Married 3 2017-07-24 16:43:38
Hello all! This is a great idea.  A little update:  Steve & I still live here in Princeton, MN and still own and manage the K-Bob Cafe.  Not much has changed here in the last five years.  We do have three grandkids now. Two live here in Princeton and one currently lives in Tacoma, WA.  Guess where we go when we take time off from the restaurant? Singing is still part of our life. Both Steve and I continue to sing with the East Central Minnesota Chorale. Come visit us when you are in town!  I promise a free piece of homemade pie!  Send Teri a MessageSend Teri a Message

Professor and Chair, Theatre Arts, University of Texas-Arlington www.uta.edu/theatre Married 2 2017-04-14 20:33:25
Greetings to all,

Since I was 15, the theatre profession has and continues to be good to me. I've been extremely fortunate that way. Living all over the country, (Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas/Arlington/Fort Worth... Brainerd, St. Cloud, Winona, Rochester, MN) has been very interesting and adventurous; living in north Texas for 18 years is the longest I've lived anywhere except for good ol' Crystal. Been married to Laura for 30 years and have two children, Claire and Peter. Claire now living in Milwaukee and Peter in Boston.  We've been spending some time by the ocean in Ogunquit, Maine and we love it. It will be good to see everyone. Looking forward to it. Hope all is well. KL
P.S.  Please email me at lafontaine@uta.edu, still fun to get mail!

It is strange to no longer live in Minnesota! I miss it, but do enjoy our home in Wisconsin and we visit Minnesota frequently. We live on Fishtrap Lake next to the Chequamegon National Forest, about a half an hour east of Hayward. We have done some building and remodeling on the site and by the end of 2017, hope to have our projects there completed. It is a quiet lake with few homes and nature all around us. We live there the warmest six months of the year.

From November until May we live in northwestern Costa Rica, in the mountains and rain/cloud forest. Our home overlooks Lake Arenal, a 22 mile long lake. It is a challenge living in a different country with a culture so unlike what we have back the Midwest, but we love our time there. The people that have moved there from the States are an adventurous bunch and we have made many friends. The view from our home is beautiful and we have flowers and birds all around us.

One of the joys in my life are my two daughters.  Who knew having children would be so much fun?  They live in San Jose, California and Atlanta, Georgia but we talk frequently and visit often.

Also enjoy family history and old photos and have made several books for our family.  Traveling is also high on my list, but never seem to get enough of it.

Our 40th reunion was so much fun! Loved seeing everyone! Those of you that could not be with us, please try to get to the next one. It warmed my heart to be there.

Educator Married 2 2017-04-08 13:04:38
I've lived in Southern Oregon since 1997 with my husband (of 30 years) David.  The climate here is great....after several decades in the Midwest and East, I've found a place whose climate works for me! (And it also works for the wine industry, which is blossoming here!)

We have two grown daughters - Katie lives in McMinnville (near Portland, OR) and works in public health, and Anna lives in Denver and works in the area of intercultural communication/overseas learning adventures.

David and I are both educators. After nearly 20 years at the community college, I'm starting to look forward to new adventures.  We haven't done nearly enough traveling. (Up and down Interstate 5 in Oregon doesn't really count, but we do a lot of that.)  We see retirement on the horizon, though not sure how soon.  I'll count on my Class of 72 buddies who have already done it to coach me on making that move.

Hope to see you in September 2017!

Life has delivered me through the very high and the very low times and I can appreciate them all.  After an education as a Registered Nurse and a 24 year career traveling in administration of a staffing agency I was retired with a plan to travel and appreciate all of the things I had passed in too much haste.  Alas - like all good plans there was a change!  Five surgeries, a few complications, a respiratory arrest and lastly two broken arms find me three years later out of retirement and living each day to it's fullest (at least until I am just too tired to do more)!  Two grown sons and three grandchildren aged 5 months to 14 years make me very happy and very proud!  Arizona is home now, but my heart is in Minnesota!
